PURPOSE: Renew Computers receives donations of computer equipment from corporations and individuals throughout Marin County. Our donors are assured that their equipment will be re-used or recycled in a way that will best benefit the community and the environment. We appreciate this opportunity and in turn wish to donate back to the community as much of this equipment as possible
COST AND HOW TO QUALIFY: We offer a complete, internet ready, refubished computer system for $150.00+tax. This is a siginificant discount from the regular retail price. We offer computers to ANYONE in need provided they are referred to us by a nonprofit agency within Marin County. Typical configuration of a donation machine: Intel Pentium 4, 2.6 GHZ Processor, Windows XP Home (licensed COA), 15" Flat Panel Color Monitor, 1GB ram, 80 GB+ Hard Drive, Keyboard, Mouse, Cables, Internet Ready with Word Processor, Spreadsheet, and Virus Protection. These machines all come with a 90 day full parts and service wrranty
ADDITIONAL COST: If you require a system that has more features than the basic system described above, we will be happy to custom build a machine to meet your needs, however, there may be additional costs involved.
